Thus ends the sad story of Anne of the Thousand Days

This film allowed me a deeper understanding on the part of England that was momentous for the history of Europe, the structure of the film is well mounted and remembered at the time.

We also believe that love has been a turning point in history such as wars, conquests and expansion territory of the countries.
I loved the movie

Anne of the Thousand Days is a British movie that describes the history of the king enrique VIII who more than the love to a woman was obsessed for having a son who would be his inheritor at the moment of his death. Anne Boleyn was a woman that not only I inspire love of Enrique VIII, it was ambitious and a wanted have power. The love through that they lived was very strong and intense of his relation, Anne I remain a pregnant woman the king it she was waiting that this time if he was a man but it she was not like that a woman was born done that I dislike it but anne did everything possible for supporting it to his side. The movie Anne of the Thousand Days it takes up the historical moment of love life and the reign of Henry VIII in England. The film is a young king with a wife more to it than men can not give children that they can continue their reign. Then, Henry meets Anne Boleyn, a beautiful young, Henry drags along the roads of desperation in seeking a legal union of marriage but without being able to separate from his present wife.

Through this process, Henry VIII made a breach between the crown and the church. So in that rupture the Anglican Church is born and begins the affair with Anne Boleyn. However, the frustration of the King appears again when instead of a boy born a girl, Elizabeth.

After several attempts Henry don’t have a son and is driven by despair and sponsors a plot against Anne Boleyn of adultery and sentenced for treason and is beheaded. When Anne Boleyn is beheaded ends the story of his suffering that love a thousand days.

Through the relationship with Henry VIII and Anne Boleynn is possible to understand the creation of the Anglican church. The church laws prohibiting union and break the first change in the laws and the belief in another church.

For me it is fantastic. I like the costumes, music, elegance. Pelícukla is also the historical material and helps to understand the evolution of English society, changing the laws and customs. The story told through educational materials to help understand more.

Summary & Analysis
Henry VIII had a lot of women, one of them was Anne Boleyn, a young woman from scorn and greed of the king falls, still married to Queen Catherine of Aragon, and demands to be with him not being another from the long list but being his wife. This determination makes Henry VIII fell in love with her and divorce from Catherine of Aragon to become her in his new queen. After separating not only Catherine but also of the Catholic Church, the King Henry VIII marries Anna Boleyn and he hopes a good marriage and had her first son.
The plot of the story changes completely to Elizabeth, only daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, because the great hope of the king was a son, an heir, but the couple had a girl. For this, the marriage begins to fall, because this was a big disappointment for the King. Henry VIII knew a new girl, a pretty woman who was called James Seymour with the time she was the third Henry’s VIII wife.
Anne Boleyn decided not to divorce from the King causing for her a lot of problems, she was accused of incest and infidelity and she was decapitated by order of the royal court and the King, not without professing how great it would be his daughter.

2. The film makes a connection to an age that was framed on religion and new ways of thinking.
3. The movie also have a simple story that explains the life of this queen, makes it more entertaining for the audience. In our case it was a way of understanding some of the most important chapters of the Tudors´House.

Actors/ actresses: Henry VIII, Catalina of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Thomas Wolsey, Maria Bolena, Jane Seymour, Lady Mary, Thomas Cromwell, Elizabeth Boleyn, Mary and George Boleyn, Duke of Norfolk, Thomas More, etc.
Type of film: Drama and history
Summary & Analysis: Anne of the Thousand Days is a movie that explain how was the life of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII during the fourteenth century, an age where the power of the men was on the rights of women.

This movie is important to explain as Anne Boleyn becomes the protagonist of the story when you try on to your rights and your child to anyone else who wants to interfere with your life and love she felt for her husband.

Among the most important scenes could be describe those in which Anne is giving birth to their children and each one is born dies. These scenes are shocking because they reflect a woman's pain that the social pressure is to be subjected to any situation.

Relation to historical event: In the movie Anne of the Thousand Days, the director present the history of the Tudor House from King Henry VIII, who married Catherine of Aragon after the widowed, who also announced his desire to divorce after failing to take a son with her. However, the real reason that we want to separate is because he met to Anne Boleyn. A young woman who can satisfy your desires. Henry appoints to Thomas Wolsey to process the divorce in Rome and get marry with Ana.

Over the years, Henry manages to legitimize his union with Anne Boleyn and she is crowned, but hated by the people who did not accept with a queen and ends up being beheaded as consequence of Henry's intentions to get rid of his wife and marry another woman.

Reaction to the film: I liked this movie because it helped me understand how power act in the fourteenth century, determined by the absolute monarchy.

The idea most important, for me, is that the film exposes all the cultural concept that was driving, from fashion to the way people are connected with others.

I could not very well defined how can better understand the topic, but I think that the movie completely exposed conditions historical, social, political and economic age.

Analysis and summary

This movie begins with the signing of Henry VIII to execute the persons most related to him including his second wife Ann Bolyen.

Also this king had a terrible obsession to conceive a son male and having to see that his wife only had generated women, he looks for an opportunity with Ann Boleyn to obtain the intention of a male son, Henry VIII begins to fill Ann Boleyn with gifts , separatinf from his fiancé to achieve the intention of conquering her sister, but he didnt imagine that she was a very crafty and intelligent woman and able to give him the son he wanted; if it began to do orders that put in danger the religious credence of England since the catholic church was not allowing a separation. Henry VIII did to the impossible thing so that these laws were always changing in favor of Ann Boleyn and the achievement to impose another religion that was allowing this type of events.

Henry VIII manages to separate frpm his first wife and marry Ann Boleyn who remained a pregnant woman but for his misfortune she had a girl who did not look with taste by the king, they realized the second attempt to generate a male son which achievement to conceive but unfortunately he died, which made unacceptable the incapability of his second wife to generate a male, and thats where another moment of the history begins. The caprice of this king, Elizabeth Howard to whom a son manages to be given but takes to the death his second wife who is sentenced for betraying the king with his brother accusing her of incest and leading her to be decapitated.

2. The movie narrates the historical event of the reign of Henry VIII, where a good-looking king gets obsessed for a male son to assure the throne and since his obsecion of being with Ann Boleyn transfigures the ethical moral, religious and political thought of a country.

3. This movie was key to understand the history of England. It is also a good movie that adheres to the history without taking preferences to the characteres as other versions of movies as example The other Boleyn girls, of the director Justin Chadwick.
We will remember this movie, first for the taste to the history of England, second for the history of Henry VIII as he steps over a country to obtain his interests and since Ann Bolena a woman of strong character manages to be a queen of England is a mother of the queen most warlike and more wanted by the people of England
and finally the most important event that marked and changed the history of England the break-age with the catholic church and the creation of a new church.
